Lendlease welcomes Swiss Re to Barangaroo

Lendlease today announced that Swiss Re is the latest international business to commit to office space at International Towers Sydney at Barangaroo.

21 January 2016 - Swiss Re has entered into an Agreement for Lease to occupy level 36 of Tower Two in its entirety, which is 2,441 square metres of commercial floor space. They will join Westpac and Gilbert + Tobin in Tower Two this year.

Lendlease Managing Director of Barangaroo South, Andrew Wilson said “We are delighted to welcome Swiss Re to Barangaroo. They join a growing list of quality tenants at International Towers Sydney all seeking to secure the benefits these next generation offices offer in terms of workplace efficiency and environmental performance.

“The 5,000 office workers already working at Barangaroo have seen Sydney’s new financial and professional services hub come alive over the past six months, with a considerable amount of retail now open including The Canteen and the Wulugal Pop-up along the waterfront. With a total of more than 80 retail outlets planned, there is much more to come in 2016 as we complete the other two towers.”

Managing Director, Swiss Re Australia & New Zealand, Mark Senkevics said “Swiss Re is delighted to have secured space in such a world class complex.

The precinct is a step in the right direction for Sydney's business community and we are confident that our new location will provide the best facilities for our staff and our clients.

“Swiss Re's engagement in the areas of art and architecture has a long tradition and is firmly embedded in our corporate culture. Coupled with the building's high sustainability rating, the move is perfectly aligned with our brand and values.

“ITS Tower Two was selected for the following reasons: it accommodates our workplace aspirations; the quality of the building and facilities are superior; and the location is within close proximity to our clients. We look forward to moving in this year.”

Swiss Re joins a number of tenants already committed to International Towers Sydney including Westpac, KPMG, PWC, Gilbert + Tobin, HSBC, Marsh & McLennan, Servcorp and Lendlease.
