The Plans for barangaroo south

More than 20,000 people have engaged in the Barangaroo consultation process through public displays, online information, community forums and meetings with local residents and this feedback led to a number of refinements to the designs.  Our plans reflect the feedback we have received during this process.

It is important to note that the Concept Plan is focused on where the buildings are to be located, their heights, floor plates and orientation, as well as the positioning of streets, gardens, public spaces and waterfront walks. So the material you see now on this website is illustrative only and is intended to help visualise the key ideas behind our concept plan rather than what the buildings will actually look like.

In December 2010, the Concept Plan Modification 4 was granted approval by the then NSW Minister for Planning. This sets a framework for the delivery of the buildings and the public domain.  Detailed design will continue to evolve and each building is required to have a separate Project Application, including public exhibition, before it can proceed.
