Approvals for Barangaroo South are subject to statutory planning processes, under the assessment regime of the NSW Government’s Department of Planning and Infrastructure.
 
Detailed project applications are required to be lodged with the NSW Department of Planning for public domain and building works. The Minister for Planning and Infrastructure has delegated the assessment of these applications to a Planning Assessment Committee.
